196 members of 60 Mahila Mandals and other organisations from 20 panchayats participated in the one-day theatre programme. Both Mountain Women Development Trust and Kaladhari Sangathan helped in making this program successful. Through art, the women of the village were not only made aware about the place around them and the violence happening in it, but they also got a chance to talk concentratedly under an organisation.

Drama is such a way that explains the connection between personal and social very well, and on this, we depicted molestation while travelling in bus and train and molestation in marriage through play! This issue is important because it is related to all kinds of violence against women in the village.

Talking on this also gives women a platform where they can pay more attention to the things related to them. Getting yourself aware of new ideas by getting organised through drama was not successful. We seek cooperation from our women members for such programs in future as well and want more and more women to be a part of dramas.
