Our Story

Parvatiya Mahila Vikas Trust is a dynamic and dedicated non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Himachal Pradesh. With a strong commitment to gender justice, women’s empowerment, and community development, our organization has been actively working towards creating positive change for over 15 years.

Our mission revolves around eliminating violence against girls and women, promoting health rights, and facilitating access to higher education and livelihood opportunities. Through our various initiatives, including Village Level Meetings, workshops, and training programs, we aim to empower women, enhance their skills, and foster a sense of community engagement.

Our Team

At Parvatiya Mahila Vikas Trust, our strength lies in our people — a team united by resilience, empathy, and a shared vision of gender justice and community empowerment. What makes us truly unique is that many of our team members are survivors turned changemakers, who have transformed their lived experiences into powerful instruments of advocacy, support, and change.

Together, we work across villages and communities in Himachal Pradesh, creating safe spaces for women, fostering awareness, and enabling access to education, livelihood, and health rights. Each member of our team brings a deep sense of purpose and compassion to the work we do, ensuring that every initiative is rooted in trust, inclusivity, and hope.
