At Parvatiya Mahila Vikas Trust, capacity building is a core part of our work. We believe that strengthening knowledge, skills, and confidence is essential for both personal growth and effective community engagement.
We regularly organize discussions, reading sessions, and training programs for our team members and community participants. These sessions create a safe and open space for learning, sharing experiences, and building critical understanding.
Our trainings cover a range of important areas. We conduct sessions on digital security to promote safe and responsible use of technology. Social media workshops help participants use these platforms for communication, awareness, and advocacy. We also facilitate discussions on gender and patriarchy, encouraging participants to reflect on social norms and challenge inequalities.
In addition, we provide practical skill-based training such as report writing and basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and laptops. These skills support participants in managing their work more effectively and confidently.
Our regular reading sessions further strengthen analytical thinking and encourage collective learning within the team.
Through these ongoing efforts, we aim to build a strong, informed, and empowered team that can contribute meaningfully to advancing gender justice in the community.
