Our Story
Parvatiya Mahila Vikas Trust is a dynamic and dedicated non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Himachal Pradesh. With a strong commitment to gender justice, intersectinality women’s empowerment, and community development, our organization has been actively working towards creating a positive and safe space for domestic violence survivors for over 17 years.
Our mission revolves around eliminating violence against girls and women, promoting health rights, and facilitating access to higher education and livelihood opportunities. Through our various initiatives, including Village Level Meetings, workshops, and training programs, we aim to empower women, enhance their skills, and foster a domestic violence free society through community engagement.

What makes us truly unique is that many of our team members are survivors turned changemakers, who have transformed their lived experiences into powerful instruments of advocacy, support, and change.
Together, we work across villages and communities in Himachal Pradesh, creating safe spaces for women, fostering awareness, and enabling access to education, livelihood, and health rights.
